Who did you first cosplay as?

My first formal cosplay was hitting and missing as Edward Elric from "Fullmetal Alchemist" and Enzan Iijuin from "Rockman.EXE" in Jr. High,then going to Pokemon Rocks! Dallas in 2005 as Meiru Sakurai from "Rockman.EXE".Convention wise,my first cosplay as a revamped version of said Meiru Sakurai cosplay,a version 1.0 of Edward Elric and the ultimate Enzan Iijuin.

When and where did you first cosplay?

Edward Elric and Enzan Iijuin,I believe 2003-2004?Meiru Sakurai 1.0 was in 2005 with the 2nd version/Edward Elric 1.0 and Enzan Iijuin at A-Kon 17,2006.

When and where was the last time you cosplayed?

Sadly,AnimeFEST 2009 was my only convention stop for the year.I did do a lazy version of England from "Axis Powers Hetalia" a few weeks ago.

Who have you cosplayed in the past?

I have a running list,so I'll just input the years and cosplays.As for pictures,I don't have much.

Who is your favorite person to cosplay as?

This is a very difficult question to ask me,as a lot of these cosplays hold memories.Personally,my favorite would have to be Enzan Iijuin.I coughed up $70+ to get this one as perfect as humanly possible.

Who do you REALLY want to cosplay as?

My gosh...so many...I personally would love to cosplay as my original character Sifen Yamishi,but that'd be really impossible,as he is intersexed and has tits the size of Ivy Valentine's.Yes,I said it.Go ahead and smack me a new one.

But,I'd like to work on getting Singapore done somehow.I heard from some friends that there is an "Axis Powers Hetalia" Singapore,but no official design has been released yet.So,I'm jumping on the bandwagon with mom's help to get one done.All I have to run with is that England,then Japan controlled the island nation,so it helps...somehow...

How many of your friends cosplay?

Depends.There's Cassandra,Gillian,Adam...Kayleia...Steph...I think about 95% of my friends cosplay.

Have you ever walked around in public in your cosplay outfit?

Hells yeah!I walked about a Kroger as Kilik one time.Got a lot of stares from the Bakery department.

Have people ever recognized you and asked for photos?

It depends.I did get a lot of fangirls in the area who ask for pics with me when dressed as Enzan Iijuin...and then there's this Axel cosplayer at AnimeFEST who was in a spazz when she saw me as Mick St. John.

Have you ever made your own cosplay outfit?

Sadly,I've mainly bought items from the clothing store and modded them.The only things I 'made' are the trims on my Enzan and Dark shirts,the crappily dyed wig for Enzan and the shirt for Edward.

When and where did you first learn of cosplay?

Age 14,scrolling online out of pure boredom.

What did you think of it?

Awesome.This was the perfect escape of the abuse I suffer at home and it'd help me become more artistic.

What do you think of it now?

It helps me express myself as the male gender more often,as I can't present as a male,having been born bloody female!

Where do you usually cosplay?

Cons,the house...depends.I did do Dark from "DNAngel" at my campus last year.

Have you ever done a cosplay skit on stage?

Yes.It was an epic fail.

Have you ever won a prize for said skit?

Nope.Got lots of hate for it.

Do you ever plan your cosplays way before you're meant to wear them?

Hells yeah!I have about 70+ ideas that are simmering about in my head.Already,I have the ambition to cosplay EVER male character in "Axis Powers Hetalia",all 4 of Endymion's soldiers from "Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon" and Izzy Sparks' Visual Kei inspired "Guitar Hero 5" outfit.

Yup.A-Kon(2006,2007,2008),AnimeFEST(2006,2009)

What is the best thing about cosplay?

Being able to be someone you may never be for a weekend.

What is the worst thing about cosplay?

My relatives and a lot of people at my former church say I have too much time on my hands,on top of the fact that it is not a good thing to do.Plus,I'm unable to do a lot of the ideas in my head due to money constraints.Even worse is that I can't do lots of popular cosplays since mom wants me to stick to just the simple stuff.

Why do you cosplay?

It helps release a lot of the stress from home and school,but it enables me to step into the mindset of someone else for the weekend and become that character.
